Warranty Policy

Warranty and After-Sales Policy


Scope:


Only orders purchased through the Kukirin official website (https://www.kukirinescootereu.com/) are eligible for the 12-month official after-sales service and repair support listed below.
For orders purchased through third-party platforms (such as Amazon and eBay), please contact the corresponding platform's customer service for after-sales assistance. The terms of service are subject to the platform's regulations.


1. Electric Scooter Warranty


Warranty Period, Fault Confirmation Criteria, Service and Fee Details


Within 7 days of receipt, if the product fails due to material or manufacturing defects, as confirmed by Kukirin after-sales customer service

  •  Free return and exchange service; shipping costs are borne by us.
  •  Refunds will be processed through the original payment method; delivery time is subject to the payment platform's regulations.


From 7 days to 12 months after receipt, if the product has quality issues, as confirmed by Kukirin after-sales customer service

  • Free original accessories and repair instructions will be provided; customers can choose to exchange or return the product for repair.
  •  Customers are not responsible for shipping costs to return defective parts to designated EU repair warehouses, but are responsible for shipping costs to return the repaired parts/products.


Important Note: Before returning a defective part, please contact Customer Service via email to obtain the return address and other instructions. Returning products without prior communication may result in customs delays, package loss, or loss of claims.


2. Electric Scooter Accessory Warranty


All orders are covered by a unified accessories warranty from the date of purchase:

  • Within 7 days of receipt: If any accessory has a quality defect, we will replace it with a genuine part free of charge and cover all shipping costs.
  • From 7 days to 12 months after receipt: The original part will be replaced free of charge, but shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
  • After 12 months: The accessories warranty becomes void, and you will need to purchase the original part yourself.


3. Consumable Parts Warranty


Consumable parts include tire sets and brake sets (including brake pads, brake cables, etc.).
Warranty Limitations: Free replacements are only available for quality defects within 7 days of receipt. For damage caused by normal wear and tear or improper operation, you will need to purchase genuine parts.


4. Warranty Void

The following circumstances will void the warranty and all warranty rights will be lost:

  • The product has been modified or repaired by unauthorized personnel, or non-genuine parts (including third-party parts) have been used.
  • The product has been damaged by an accident (e.g., collision, drop), external impact, or severe weather (e.g., snowstorm, heavy rain, strong winds).
  • The product has failed due to dust, impurities, water, or foreign objects entering the interior; or the product has been used in rainy weather or driven in an environment with more than 4 cm of water.
  • The product/spare part serial number has been removed or is illegible; or the part has dents, mechanical impacts, cracks, etc. due to reasons other than quality.
  • The product has been damaged by corrosion, condensation, or has deviated from its original condition due to improper storage (e.g., humid environments in some regions, strong sunlight).
  • The product has been used in a manner inconsistent with the EU product user manual; or the failure was caused by deliberate damage.
  • The product has exceeded the 12-month warranty period.

5. EU After-Sales Supplementary Information

Accessories purchased separately are not covered by the official warranty.
